BARBER Capricorn Concerto, Op. 21

HAYDN Symphony No. 80 in D minor

A stirring, deeply fascinating Frank Martin work makes a strong case for this 20th-century Swiss master’s wider renown, before Riverside Symphony principals take center stage in American composer Samuel Barber’s lyrically inventive concertino.
